OLYMPIC OPEN 2010 is coming up - 02/10/2010!
Dear friends,
it is our honor to invite you to the 5th International Taekwondo Championship OLYMPIC OPEN 2010 (for children, cadets, juniors and seniors), which will take place on 2 October 2010 in Sarajevo , the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Olympic Open is the largest international taekwondo championship in our country, and one of the largest in this part of Europe. Previous Olympic Open's hosted some of the most successful athletes in Europe and the world - European and world champions!
It would be our honor to host your team as well in our beautiful Olympic city Sarajevo, so that we can together awaken its Olympic spirit and help the development of Taekwondo in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Here are some important notes about this year's tournament:
1. This year, „Olympic Open“ will include children categories as well. Children will compete with modified rules: headshots will NOT be allowed.
2. Electronic Scoring system (DaeDo and LaJust), provided by the organizer, will be used for all age categories. Seniors will use DaeDo equipment for both body and head, whereas children/cadets/juniors will use LaJust equipment. Seniors and juniors must have their own Foot Sensor Socks, due to hygienic reasons. 3. The official hotel of „Olympic Open 2010“ is Hotel Hollywood (****)- http://www.hotel-hollywood.com.ba, a luxurious hotel in the near vicinity of the sports hall. The organizer has arranged accommodation for 25 € (EURO)/day per person (breakfast included) – note that this price is valid only in case of reservations via the organizer at olympicopenbih@yahoo.com.
