ZLATNI LJILJANI rewrite Bosnian history
Master Ahmet Dilek, the coach of the BH cadet National Taekwondo team, makes historical success with his students, by winning the first EUROPEAN GOLD medal for Bosnia and Herzegovina in an Olympic sport.
BH results at 3. European Cadet Taekwondo Championships:
- GOLD MEDAL: Mirnesa Fetahović (Taekwondo club ZLATNI LJILJANI)
- BRONZE MEDALS: Elmedin Cekrlija, Amila Karšic (Taekwondo club ZLATNI LJILJANI), Renato Tuka (Taekwondo club FOJNICA)

Fetahović golden, Japalak and Gledo silver in Olympic categories at Bihać Open
At saturday 28/03/2009 international Taekwondo championship "BIHAĆ OPEN" was held in Bihać, with 303 athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and Germany. Taekwondo club “ZLATNI LJILJANI“ particpated with five athletes who won the following medals:
- 1. place - gold medal: Mirnesa Fetahovic (cadet female -33 kg),
- 2. place - silver medals: Semra Japalak (-49 kg) and Dino Gledo (-68 kg) - seniors in Olympic categories.
Ela Ćibo - golden at Tomislav Open
On saturday 21/03/2009 3 International Taekwondo Championship TOMISLAV OPEN was held in Tomislavgrad and it hosted 265 athletes from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Taekwondo club ZLATNI LJILJANI participated with 5 athletes who all returned with medals.
- Gold medal: Ela Ćibo (cadet female -33kg) - after 4 fights.
- Silver medals: Ajla Reizbegović (cadet female -29kg) - after 3 fights and Samir Sirar (cadet male -37kg) - after 3 fights.
- Bronze medals: Kemal Čavčić (cadet male -45kg) - after 1 fight, and Rijad Muharemović (cadet male -30kg).
After this success, our club has a total of 686 medals.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONS - 7 times in a row!
290 athletes from 24 clubs participated at the National cadet and junior championships that were held on 15/03/2009 in Posušje. Taekwondo club “ZLATNI LJILJANI“ won 22 medals (9 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze) and 6 trophies.
- 1. place - gold medals: Ajla Reizbegovic (cadet female -29kg), Mirnesa Fetahovic (cadet female -33kg), Amila Karšic (cadet female -37kg), Arnela Mukic (cadet female -41kg), Elmedin Cekrlija (cadet male -37kg), Elma Kicukov (junior female -68kg), Alem Bahic (junior male -59kg), Samir Muhibic (jujunior male -68kg) and Aldin Selimovic (junior male +78kg).
- 2. place - silver medals: Ela Cibo (cadet female -33kg), Muaz Plecan (cadet male -30kg), Samir Sirar (cadet male -37kg), Emir Viteškic (cadet male +65kg), Emil Borovina (junior male -55kg) and Eldin Horman (junior male -63kg).
- 3. place - bronze medals : Nejla Reizbegovic (cadet female -26kg), Widad Al Husin (cadet female -55kg), Asmir Jusupovic (cadet male -61kg), Aldin Redžovic (cadet male -65kg), Semira Bašic (junior female -59kg), Sanela Šaric (junior female -63kg) and Benjamin Oglecevac (junior male -73kg).
Team results are as follows :
- 1. place in overall junior team ranking,
- 1. place in junior male team ranking,
- 3. place in junior female team ranking,
- 2. place in overall cadet team ranking,
- 1. place in cadet female team ranking,
- 2. place in cadet male team ranking.
After this success, Taekwondo club “ZLATNI LJILJANI“ became the national champion for the 7th time in a row. The total number of medals we won is now 681 (41 national champions, 111 international champions) with 68 trophies.
Ahmet Dilek - coach of the year 2008
On 6 March 2009, as a part of the manifestation "the Municipality of Hadžići Day", the selection of the best atheletes, coaches and sport clubs for the year 2008 was held in KSIRC (Center for Culture, Sport and Recreation in Hadžići). "The coach of the year" prize was awarded to Mr. Ahmet Dilek, the president of the Taekwondo club ZLATNI LJILJANI, as a result of his incredibly fruitful and successful work in 2008. After this result, Taekwondo club ZLATNI LJILJANI became the national champion 6 times in a row.

The best fighter prizes were awarded to members of our club - Eldin Horman (junior male), and Semra Japalak (junior female).

In 2008 we won a total of 134 medals.
It is also important to mention that in 2008 we had 10 athletes in the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina: 1 senior and 9 juniors.
At the end of 2008 our club has won:
- 659 medals (111 international champions, 32 national champions, 109 international vice-champions and 44 national vice-champions),
- 62 trophies for team results.
